About Us
 Kevin is a
Navy transplant to the Tidewater area. (What a surprise!).
And he decided to retire here. I, on the
other hand, grew up around here and am a Hampton High
Crabber for those who care. And a proud Virginia Wesleyan
graduate.
Many of you have already been in the store and know that I tease Kevin
relentlessly about his “Mid Life Crisis.” When someone asks how we
managed to get into the wine business, I smile and point to Kevin.
“His mid life crisis. I tell him that the sports car would have been
cheaper.”
But
all kidding aside, I’m glad he had this idea. Friday night wine
tastings are the highlight of our week. We always enjoy seeing
familiar faces and some new ones.
